Wallace's - Dinner Plain Mt Hotham Accommodation

Couples, families and friends can enjoy Wallace’s a comfortable, fully self-contained alpine retreat located in the heart of Dinner Plain, close to shops and amenities. Built in classic alpine style and with a large car parking space for easy access, Wallace’s sleeps up to four people comfortably; offering one double bedroom and one double bed on the mezzanine floor. The kitchen is newly renovated, with a dishwasher, gas cook-top, oven, microwave and appliances, including a Nespresso machine-bring your favourite pods. The lounge area has plasma television, Blu-Ray DVD/CD/MP3/ipod (5.1 home theatre), gas and wood heating, plus a collection of board games, DVD’s and books.

Wallace’s modern bathroom has a luxurious shower, toilet and full laundry facilities. There is a separate toilet and downstairs drying area. Dinner Plain offers something for everybody all year round. Australia’s premier ski resort, Mt Hotham is nearby and with many outdoor activities in the Alpine National Park right next door, your high country holiday has never looked better. No pets please.

Tariffs:

Summer 2025/2026: From 28 September to 2 April and 7 April to 4 June. Minimum 1 night stay $450 per night.

Easter 2026: From 3 April to 6 April. Minimum 3 night stay $565 per night.

Winter Low 2026: From 5 June to 11 July and 30 August to 3 October. Minimum 2 night stay $620 per night.

Winter High 2026: From 12 July to 29 August. Minimum 2 night stay $675 per night.

Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation thirty days or more prior to arrival will incur a fee of 10% of total tariff. The balance of monies paid will be refunded. If less than thirty days notice is given no monies will be refunded unless the property can be re-booked. We recommend that you take travel insurance to cover against cancelation penalties due to involuntary cancelation. If cancelling due to Covid 19 there is a $100 administration with held.

Deposit: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within fourteen days of booking unless booking is made within thirty days of arrival then full payment is required on booking. Where deposit is unpaid after fourteen days, DPAMS reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. For Easter, Christmas, New Years, and the winter ski season, deposit of $400.00 is to be paid upon booking. Security Deposit: The person making the reservation and paying the require tariff to DPAMS is deemed responsible for care and security of the property during the period of their stay in the property. A security bond to paid prior to arrival with DPAMS prior to or on key collection. Any loss/damage to property and or fittings, excessive cleaning in accordance with cleaning time frames and or late checkout funds will used from bond. Security bond will be returned upon departure providing conditions of occupation have been met. We cannot allow you access to the property unless the conditions of this clause have been met.

Payments: Direct deposit, only.

Note: A $500 security bond (deposit) is required for for damage and excess cleaning.
