Yes, bedding and towels are provided based on the number of guests confirmed on the reservation. Additional linens and towels may be requested onsite for an additional fee.
Check in is available from 4:00pm (2pm in Summer) and the check out time on the day of your departure is 10:00am.
Legally, you are required to carry chains when visiting the mountain during the snow season (June-October).
We recommend stopping to rent chains for your car at Hoys in Harrietville which is the next town past Bright towards Mt Hotham. They also have chains for hire in Omeo. Call Hoys today to discuss whether your car can fit chains as not all vehicles can. calling one of the providers ahead of your trip to confirm they have the correct size chains available.
Whether you use them or not will depend on the conditions on the day you travel. You will be informed along the way by either signage or staff advising that chains need to be fitted. Chains must be held in your car from the Harrietville approach or Omeo approach. If you are found not to have compliant chains necessary for your vehicle, you may incur a fine.
There are no service stations on the mountain. Bright and Omeo are the last places you can get fuel from before Mt Hotham/Dinner Plain.
(If you have a Diesel car, make sure you have filled with alpine fuel)
Lift tickets can be purchased directly from mthotham.com.au. We recommend prebooking your skis/boards/snow gear through Hoys Skis – they have 5 conveniently located ski shops including one in the Hotham Village Centre in Corral Day carpark & one in the Lodges precinct at Jack Frost. If you have insufficient parking at your property, please use the overnight car park located at Scrubbers End. No charges apply. A permit is available from this office. Best to organize prior to arrival.
Unfortunately, we do not have a snow guarantee. No compensation will be given should there be no snow during your visit.
Please contact our office within 7 days of your departure to claim your items and plan for posting.
If your property has a combustion unit or open fireplace, then firewood is provided.
Contact this office. If you are cancelling, 30 days or more from arrival date, then full refund is given. If less than 30 days of arrival date, then no refund is given.
Yes, you can bring a dog(s) No more than two dogs per dog friendly listed properties. There is a $100.00 non-refundable dog fee per dog. Please contact this office prior to arrival to arrange.
