Verandering

Verandering is a well appointed chalet located in a quiet part of the Dinner Plain Alpine Village. This single level chalet has views with warm inviting decor. As you enter you’ll see a fantastic deck. This chalet has a drying room and a firewood store. Two bathrooms, one being an ensuite off the master bedroom.

Three bedrooms in total. Sleeping a maximum of eight people. Two bedrooms with queen beds and the other with two sets of single bunks beds. Open plan of the kitchen, lounge and dining areas. Fully equipped kitchen. Free wifi available. Heating comprises of a slow combustion unit along with electric panel heaters throughout. Verandering is perfect for families.

Tariffs:

Summer 2025/2026: From 6 October to 2 April and 7 April to 30 May. Minimum 2 night stay $753 per night.

Easter 2026: From 3 April to 6 April. Minimum 3 night stay $860 per night

Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation thirty days or more prior to arrival will incur a fee of 10% of total tariff. The balance of monies paid will be refunded. If less than thirty days notice is given no monies will be refunded unless the property can be re-booked. We recommend that you take travel insurance to cover against cancelation penalties due to involuntary cancelation. If cancelling due to Covid 19 there is a $100 administration with held.

Deposit: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within fourteen days of booking unless booking is made within thirty days of arrival then full payment is required on booking. Where deposit is unpaid after fourteen days, DPAMS reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. For Easter, Christmas, New Years, and the winter ski season, deposit of $400.00 is to be paid upon booking. Security Deposit: The person making the reservation and paying the require tariff to DPAMS is deemed responsible for care and security of the property during the period of their stay in the property. A security bond to paid prior to arrival with DPAMS prior to or on key collection. Any loss/damage to property and or fittings, excessive cleaning in accordance with cleaning time frames and or late checkout funds will used from bond. Security bond will be returned upon departure providing conditions of occupation have been met. We cannot allow you access to the property unless the conditions of this clause have been met.

Payments: Direct deposit, only.

Note: A $500 security bond (deposit) is required for for damage and excess cleaning.

Freeze Frame

Freeze Frame is a beautifully presented two-level free-standing chalet. Located on the reserve, close to the shuttle bus stop and an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. The large entry foyer has a good sized separate drying room and full laundry equipment. It opens onto the bedroom floor and the stairs access the upper level. The main bedroom has a queen bed with beside tables and lamps and a small wardrobe. The second bedroom has two sets of single bunks and a television. There is a separate toilet, and the bathroom has a shower and vanity.

Upstairs the open plan kitchen, living and dining room has expansive views to the reserve and Dargo High Plains. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of bench space. Bring along your favorite coffee pods for the Nespresso machine. The comfortable living area has a gas log fire and a comfortable day bed for relaxing with a book. The house is heated with heated with electric panels. Plenty of parking at the front and side of the property. Starlink Internet available. Also available electric vehicle charge station. Suitable for a family or couple’s retreat.

Meltwater 

Meltwater Chalet is a free-standing property centrally located in the Alpine Village of Dinner Plain. Walking distance from the main precinct and the Dinner Plain beginners’ slope and toboggan run. The ground floor comprises of the kitchen living and dining areas. Open fireplace. The kitchen has recently been updated. Off the dining area is a private deck. The ground floor also has a bedroom with a double bed and one set of single bunk beds. Separate powder room. A bathroom with shower. And drying cupboard.

Upstairs, you’ll find the second bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilet. Two further bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed and single bed. This room access a deck. The garage is where you’ll find the laundry facilities and wood store and an area for skis and boards. There is parking for three vehicles. The chalet has recently been upgraded with new windows and external doors. Meltwater Chalet is perfect for families. Whether during the snow season and during the summer for outdoor enthusiasts. Free wifi available.
