Daydreamer is a modern three bedroom townhouse spread over three levels that combines a modern and contemporary style, without losing the alpine rustic feel that draws you to Dinner Plain. Located in a quiet sun drenched corner of the alpine village, overlooking the cross country ski trail and the Alpine National Park. Only a few minutes walk to the shuttle bus service to Mt Hotham and to the main precinct of Dinner Plain.

The townhouse comfortably sleeps maximum of eight people with two bathrooms and has one private car park space. Ground floor has two bedrooms. One with one set of single bunk beds and the other bedroom has a tri-bunk. The ground floor has a bathroom and laundry facilities and drying cupboard. The middle level has the kitchen, living and dining areas. On the top floor you’ll find the master bedroom with a king bed and a single bed with ensuite. Daydreamer welcomes your furry family member with a $100 fee per dog. No more than two dogs.

Tariffs:

Summer 2025/2026: From 28 September to 2 April and 7 April to 4 June. Minimum 2 night stay $675 per night.

Easter 2026: From 3 April to 6 April. Minimum 3 night stay $735 per night.

Winter Low 2026: From 5 June to 11 July and 30 August to 3 October. Minimum 2 night stay $845 per night.

Winter High 2026: From 12 July to 29 August. Minimum 2 night stay $960 per night.

Cancellations: Written notice of cancellation thirty days or more prior to arrival will incur a fee of 10% of total tariff. The balance of monies paid will be refunded. If less than thirty days notice is given no monies will be refunded unless the property can be re-booked. We recommend that you take travel insurance to cover against cancelation penalties due to involuntary cancelation. If cancelling due to Covid 19 there is a $100 administration with held.

Deposit: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is required within fourteen days of booking unless booking is made within thirty days of arrival then full payment is required on booking. Where deposit is unpaid after fourteen days, DPAMS reserves the right to cancel the booking without further notice. For Easter, Christmas, New Years, and the winter ski season, deposit of $400.00 is to be paid upon booking. Security Deposit: The person making the reservation and paying the require tariff to DPAMS is deemed responsible for care and security of the property during the period of their stay in the property. A security bond to paid prior to arrival with DPAMS prior to or on key collection. Any loss/damage to property and or fittings, excessive cleaning in accordance with cleaning time frames and or late checkout funds will used from bond. Security bond will be returned upon departure providing conditions of occupation have been met. We cannot allow you access to the property unless the conditions of this clause have been met.

Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge

Overlooking the National Park in a quiet part of town, this well-appointed large chalet is perfect for families. Upstairs take in the scenery of the Alpine National Park and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the open fireplace while it crackles away. Now that’s hard to beat Cloud 9 Alpine Lodge is in Park Lane, Dinner Plain at an elevation of 1550 meters. Situated on the boundary of the Alpine National Park the lodge enjoys a very peaceful setting with spectacular views. The lodge has 5 bedrooms by 3 bathrooms.

Three of the bedrooms are furnished with a split king bed enabling either ‘twin share’ or ‘double’ occupancy sleeping configurations. Upstairs, guests have access to a large open log fire, satellite tv and comfortable lounges as well as a large dining area along with a large deck overlooking the Alpine National Park. On-site car parking is provided as well. Free wifi available.

Located in a quiet corner of the alpine village, just a hop skip and a jump to the x-country ski tracks and the Alpine National Park, yet also just a few minute’s walk to the transport links to Mt Hotham and the pubs, restaurants and shops. The house can accommodate a family of 7 comfortable, and has 1 car park. Your furry family member is welcome with a non-refundable fee of $50 per dog. No more than two dogs please.

With Mt Hotham only 12km away for the skiers, snow boarders and of course the cross country skiers Dinner Plain has a lot to offer with its unique architecture and family friendly surroundings. During the summer the tracks and trails are open for bush walking, 4wd, motor biking, mountain biking and fishing the nearby rivers. Free wifi available.
